Panathlon

The Panathlon Challenge is a charity that has been organising multi-sports events for young disabled people since 1999.  Panathlon provides coaching funds, free equipment provision and multi-sport events for young people with severe learning difficulties and or physical impairments, and has grown from involving 2 London Boroughs in 1999, to 25 in 2009. The Football Foundation grant aided the Panathlon Challenge £242,000 in 2008.

The RNIB Soccer Sight project ensures that blind and partially sighted people can access football at all levels, whether that be playing, watching or coaching the game.

Soccer Sight

Deaf Friendly Football Club

The Deaf Friendly Football Club (DFFC) project is a ground-breaking project designed by the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) to make football more accessible to all deaf children. The three-year project is being funded with the help of a £211,608 grant from the Football Foundation.
