Supporting all of the work on diversity within the Football Foundation are the two Diversity Champions, our Chief Executive Officer Paul Thorogood and, at Trustee level, the Rt Hon Richard Caborn.
Their role within the Foundation is to:
- To actively support the diversity action plan and strategy within the Foundation.
- To work to ensure that organisational goals consider diversity and that this is embedded into the organisational ethos.
- To integrate the principles of diversity into all communications, both internally and externally.
- To sign off the diversity action plan and ensure that key accountabilities within this plan take responsibility for driving forward with their relevant actions.
- To fulfil an advocacy role by ensuring that diversity is a key element to all of the different business elements of the work of the Foundation.
