A goalpost safety application is judged purely on whether the group meet the necessary criteria, are supported by their County FA and demonstrate a need for new or replacement goalposts. If they do, they are offered a grant, if not, the application is ineligble for support.
When an application is submitted to the Foundation it is then forwarded to the relevant County FA. Once they have given their support the application is checked for eligibility and for any missing details i.e. supporting documents, by an administrator. The application is processed and if successful the applicant will receive a letter within 6 - 8 weeks stating the grant awarded. The applicant then places an order with a suitable supplier.
