A junior kit scheme application is judged purely on whether the group meet the necessary criteria and demonstrates the appropriate need for a kit. If they do, they are offered a grant, if not, the application is rejected.
Once an application is received at the Foundation, it is checked for eligibility and for any missing details i.e. signatures, by an administrator. The application is processed and if successful the applicant will receive a letter within 6 - 8 weeks enclosing a voucher for £400, together with a catalogue/order form from our nominated supplier. The applicant sends their completed order direct to the kit supplier with voucher.
If unsuccessful, the applicant is sent a letter within 4 weeks giving reasons why the grant was rejected.
Applications can be acknowledged providing the applicant has completed the acknowledgement slip with an address and affixed a stamp.
Should we require any additional information we will contact you within 4-6 weeks in order for us to complete our assessment.
