What are the benefits to
participants and the wider
community?
The par tners are able to use a state-of-
the-ar t training and match-play facility, as
well as access to a range of other facilities
that the University manages.The facility
is permanently manned, and offers a
wide range of coach education courses
throughout the year.
Andy Norman,Worcestershire FA’s
County Development Manager, described
the impact that the new facility has made:
“The facility was much needed for the
City ofWorcester to provide a quality
training area and adult pitch.
“The amount of usage and variety of
users, from the casual user to the elite
players, from seven years olds to veterans,
has been excellent. Reflecting the demand,
the only problem is that we need three
more similar facilities!”
