The inaugural Football Business Awards
has attracted international interest
from all levels of the game and both
the Foundation and the Football Stadia
Improvement Fund (FSIF) have lent their
names to help promote them.
Awards entries span the whole football
world, from the biggest names in
the European game, to start-up, and
entrepreneurial businesses offering
innovative services to football clubs, fans
and administrators.
There’s a strong theme of business as
a powerful force in the community and
football itself as a focus for important
community and business concepts.
The Foundation and FSIF, as major
stakeholders that span several levels of
the game, are proud to partner with the
Awards and help promote awareness in
their first year.
As part of their own Corporate and
Social Responsibility drive, the Football
Business Awards has teamed up with
Arsenal and broadcasting legend, Bob
Wilson, to make hisWillow Foundation
the Charity Partner of the Awards.
TheWillow Foundation provides
positive and life-enhancing special days
for seriously ill 16–40 year olds. The
Awards night will include some very
special fundraising initiatives for The
Willow Foundation, and Bob himself is
a member of the Awards judging panel.
The Football Business Awards take place
in November this year at Stamford
Bridge in London.
