It is serving approximately 25 grassroots sports clubs, as well as several local primary schools. Castletown on the Isle of Man, for example, is now home to a modern sports pavilion that will benefit local teams of all ages thanks to a grant of £99,175. Similarly, Burnley’s Prairie Sports Village is now home to a new 3G pitch and changing out supporting the grassroots game across the country PRESIDENT PENDRY The Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP visited South Bromsgrove High School in his constituency to officially open their floodlit 3G pitch and state-of-the art changing room, which will not only benefit the school’s several hundred pupils but also more than 15 local grassroots clubs. Lord Pendry also joined Rosie Cooper, MP for West Lancashire, to present Burscough Dynamo FC with a £98,048 cheque to improve their real grass pitches which will help the club attract prospective players, including more girls and ladies.
