Youth Football Goalposts

The Foundation’s Youth Football Goalposts grants are available to football clubs to cover 50% towards the total cost of purchasing the new smaller goals recommended by The FA for Under-11 and Under-12 matches, which become mandatory for season 2013-14, with money provided by The FA and delivered by the Foundation.
The FA funds the Youth Football Goalposts scheme

The youth development review conducted by the FA is starting to be implemented. There are a number of leagues and clubs that have moved to the revised formats of youth football this season and The FA and Football Foundation have supported those clubs and leagues wanting to be proactive in moving to deliver 9 v 9 earlier than required by offering funding towards the purchase of goals.  We will continue to support the clubs that will now require funding to purchase goals for the 2013/14 season.

In addition to 9 v 9, the latest goalposts windows have been extended to cover the purchase of mini-soccer goals for 5 v 5 and 7 v 7 games.

Similar to the first window we are offering grants at 50% towards the cost of British Standard 16’ x 7’ and 12’ x 6’ goalposts, including delivery and VAT (if applicable).

Important notice

Due to exceptional demand for the Youth Football Goalposts scheme, the current window is now closed.

Please continue to monitor this page and your County FA website for any further updates. If you require any more information about the changes taking place in youth football, please contact your County FA representative.
