What are the long term benefits of the project on the community?
This project is undoubtedly one of the biggest to be undertaken within the West Marsh area, by being able to provide a facility that will be open for everyone to use at a very reasonable price. The project has hit 4 of the 5 targets set out by the Government in the Every Child Matters Strategy, (Be Healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy and Achieve, Make a Positive Contribution). By working in partnership with North East Lincoln Sports Development we have able to play a big part in reducing the fear of Anti Social Behaviour.
How has the Foundation's funding made a significant positive difference?
Over 10,000 people have used this facility in the first year, covering all ages from 5 to 55 years.
