"I recently completed my application for university, which I filled with anecdotes from my experiences with Supporter to Reporter, to the point where I had to cut a lot of it down. S2R has sparked my interest in the media, fuelled my passion for writing, and propelled my ambitions into real experiences. When I entered the LCCC centre for the first time I had no idea that the initial workshop I attended would eventually lead me to a conference hall in London interviewing the likes of Boris Johnson, Kelly Holmes and the Prince of Jordan, or to dance group Diversity’s hotel room to carry out an interview, or even the stage of an Olympic conference interviewing Prince William live via satellite phone! These are just a few of the places S2R have taken me, and I haven’t even mentioned what it has done for my confidence and overall attitude. The challenges coupled with encouragement S2R have provided, have shown me what I am capable of, and I now greet new opportunities with open arms, however daunting they may seem at first. S2R has made a positive impact on my life on all levels, particularly in the fact that it directly relates to my aspirations within education and a career in the media."
