“The Play 2 Learn Project has been the best project I have worked on in 20 years of  project management. The funding from the football foundation has enabled local disadvantaged people to aspire and reach their own personal goals. Students who have been long term unemployed are now working or taking a positive and active role in their own community is inspirational. The amount of students who have become role models to others who were in a similar position to themselves is just fantastic. People who from doing nothing are now coaching local clubs, finding work, going onto to achieve further qualifications and leading healthier fitter and more positives lifestyles through the funding allocated by the football foundation and the power of football.”

“I am a single mum who was very demotivated and really going now where in life. I had a keen interest in football and was a keen Albion fan. The Play 2 Learn project motivated me to set a few goals. I obtained my FA Level 1 coaching certificate which gave me a great confidence booster and have taken over as manager/coach at Greets Green Albion FC u9s boys. I have since gone onto gain my NVQ Level 2 Sports Leadership Award and I have secured paid employment coaching in the community”
