On Tuesday 13 December 2011, Howard Webb MBE, officially opened a new third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch and new changing rooms at One Leisure Outdoor Centre in St Ives, Huntindonshire.
Local football clubs and players of all ages will benefit from the outdoor floodlit, artificial grass football pitch, four new team changing rooms, separate disabled and referee changing facilities which were made possible to a £500,000 grant from the Football Foundation
One Leisure St Ives Outdoor is a major sports facility within Huntingdonshire District. It is a dual use site, used by St Ivo Secondary School, located nearby, during weekdays and the community in the evenings and at weekends.
