Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor took time out today to help local footballers in the Boldmere area of Birmingham to celebrate a double funding boost worth £714,129. The cash boost will go towards developing a 3rd generation (3G) artificial grass pitch and state-of-the-art pavilion for local people.
Villa star Agbonlahor presented Boldmere Sports & Social Club with a cheque from the Football Foundation worth £464,129. The Football Foundation is a sports charity funded by the Premier League, The FA and Government (via Sport England).
