Football Club founder Eddie Mulligan wins Barclays Community Sports Award
The Barclays Community Sports Award for March 2013 has been awarded to Eddie Mulligan for his commitment to grassroots football in Northern Ireland. The monthly awards recognise the outstanding contributions to community sport that are being made by individuals across the UK. Eddie will now go forward to the season long awards to be held on 3 May at the Haymarket Hotel in London.

New investment for BMX site
BMX riders in Wrexham are set to receive a huge boost following a grant of £11,260 from Barclays Spaces for Sports. The funding, secured by Wrexham County Borough Council, will allow Ponciau Banks Bike Track to resurface the site for the community to use for years to come.
