Welcome to Annual Review + 2012.

Annual Review + has been designed to bring to life the case studies of this year's Annual Review, so you can learn more about how the Foundation's funding is helping projects all over the country.

  • AFC Urmston MeadowsideAFC Urmston worked with Manchester FA to secure a £521,178 from the Foundation's Facilties Scheme towards a brand new community pavilion. Joe Hart, England and Manchester City FC goalkeeper opened the new facility.
  • Barclays Spaces for Sports Barclays Spaces for Sports is a community-based sports programme, which uses sport as a platform to help young people develop life skills and revitalise disadvantaged communities in a sustainable way. Flagship site, Portsmouth FC's Bransbury Park featured.
  • Evesham United FCEvesham United FC worked with Worcestershire County FA to secure a massive £955,457 worth of Football Foundation funding towards a new community football complex and home ground. The opening in May saw a match against a Manchester United XI that included former stars, Dennis Irwin, Sammy Mcllroy, Clayton Blackmore and Andy Ritchie
  • Heysham High SchoolIn 2005 Heysham High School Sports College in Lancashre Recieved £467,902 for a New Third Generation Artificial Grass Pitch and Changing Rooms. This year the project has received support from the Football Foundation's Activitiy Sustainabilty Advisor to assist in increasing usage and participation
  • Hickling FCThe Hickling Recreation Ground Charity recieved a £20,026 Build the Game grant from the Football Foundation towards a spectacular new multi-purpose commuity facilitiy.
  • Kempton Girls FCKempton Girls FC received a Grow the Game grant of £5,000. Football Foundation Grow the Game grants provide help to support the creation of new male and female teams of all ages.
  • Mayor of LondonThe Mayor of London: Facilities Fund is a sporting legacy programme with the overall aim to raise participation levels in sport in London through the funding of Sports facilities - Aspire National Training Centre in Stanmore and The London Nautical School feature in this video
  • Northgate High SchoolNorthgate High School received Football Foundation funding in 2006 towards a new artificial grass pitch, changing rooms and a part time Football Development Officer. The school has received extra support from the Football Foundation's, Activity Sustainability Advisor to increase participation and to ensure that the pitch is being used out of school hours and at weekends.
  • Poppleton JFCPoppleton Junior Football Club secured a £225,000 Football Foundation grant for a brand new clubhouse. The four changing-room clubhouse is benefiting around 390 players and more than 20 teams a week.
  • Premier League Community Facility FundThe Premier League Facility Fund (PLCFF) is a £6m a year programme delivered by the Football Foundation and funded by the Premier League. The opening of PLCFF funded Stretford Sports Village saw Sir Alex Ferguson and Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore unveil a brand new artificial grass pitch.
  • The Priory SchoolA stunning new sport and leisure facility in Orpington, South East London that recieved £400,000 funding from the Foundation's Facilities Scheme.
  • Whaley BridgeWhaley Bridge Parish Council in Derbyshire recieved a £97,048 Build the Game grant to install a modern, third generation grass surface at the home ground of Whaley Bridge FC
