  • Barclays Spaces for Sports Maurice Lea Memorial Park set for a fresh lick of paintYoung people at Maurice Lea Memorial Park are set to receive a huge boost with the news that South Derbyshire District Council (SDDC), who own and maintain the park, has been awarded a grant of £950 by Barclays. The grant will contribute towards repainting the lines on the multi-use games area (MUGA). 03/07/2015
  • Liverpool City Council have received a grant from Barclays to deliver sports sessions at Doric Liverpool City Council net basketball funding from BarclaysYoung people at Doric Park multi-use games area (MUGA) are set to receive a huge boost with the news that Liverpool City Council, who own and maintain the MUGA, has been awarded a grant of £11,010 by Barclays. The grant will contribute towards repairing and repainting the MUGA, replacing the basketball hoops and remarking the court. The funding will also help to run co-ordinated multi-sport sessions in school holidays and train volunteers. 03/07/2015

The grant will contribute towards the repair of the 3G AGP and also fund a FA pitch testing certificate, so that affiliated match play can occur at the site. 03/07/2015
