North East Football Legend Paul Bracewell was at the Stadium of Light this week to launch of the Northern Grassroots Football Exhibition due to be held at the Stadium on Sunday 29th April.
The Northern Grassroots Football Exhibition is a unique event for the North of England, bringing together top names from the world of football, leading voices in coaching, grassroots coaches and teams from across the North, and leading companies ingrained in the grassroots football industry.
Paul, who played for both Sunderland AFC and Newcastle United, is an ambassador for the event which organisers hope can become a permanent fixture in the grassroots football calendar.
“The Northern Grassroots Football Exhibition is a vital event for any grassroots team or coach who is serious about developing their players’ performance and ability. It’s an opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry, as well as discussing the key issues that affect them, and I’m very proud to be associated with it.”
Event organiser Phil King added:
“The North East has produced some of the world’s best footballers in the past through the grassroots scene and it’s our hope that this event will help contribute to and celebrate this legacy.”
“Across the North of England and Scotland there is a thriving Grassroots Football community and it is our aim to help empower and develop this community through the NGFE.”
Tickets for the event will cost £5 and people can register their interest by emailing email@example.com.
There are also a limited number of stands available for exhibitors, further information of which is available from www.northerngrassrootsfootball.co.uk.
