How was Barclays Spaces for Sports targeted?

Barclays used and built upon the existing local networks of Groundwork and the Football Foundation to identify potential sites. The programme seeked to provide support in both rural and urban areas although it is the latter that secured the most sites. The selection process also looked to ensure that there was a fair spread of sites across the country recognising need, Barclays’ presence and previous support.
