Barclays Spaces for sports

The Barclays Spaces for Sports scheme is a partnership between Barclays, Groundwork and the Football Foundation, providing £30m to create or improve sports facilities in communities across the UK.

Twenty-six flagship sites have been delivered with matched funding from the Football Foundation. A further number of smaller sites have also been created, offering a range of sports including basketball, netball and tennis through to skateboard and BMX tracks.

Every site is supplied with sports equipment with further support available to help the community get the most out of the new facilities.

Please note, the Barclays Spaces for Sports Project is no longer receiving new applications for the local site or flagship element of the programme.

For further information please contact James Taylor from the Barclays Spaces for Sports Programme at the Football Foundation on 0845 345 4555 ext: 4261, or visit the Barclays' Spaces for Sports website.
