Chelsea Football Club has an excellent community scheme, working with young people from the deprived areas of London and educating them about life skills using the power of football to promote their message. They have a number of running community initiatives such as Kickz and Positive Futures, which can teach the young people to become responsible members of society and further down the line, give something back to the Community.
Chelsea community scheme is involved with the Metropolitan Police Service in ‘Operation Blunt’, an anti-knife campaign which educates children on the dangers of knife crime. Initiatives such as these, which Chelsea are involved with, encourage children and young adults to make their own judgements and think about the consequences that their actions might have.
