Everton in The Community (EiTC) has been a registered charity since June 2004 and is financially independent of Everton Football Club. The EiTC has a great number of activities which operate in the community.

 

They show commitment to a wide range of community strands such as School Based Development Activities, Disability Awareness and Empowerment, Socially Inclusive Activities and Women and Girls Development in football.

Imagine Your Goals 

A project for adults suffering from mental health conditions, at risk of being affected or caring for someone with such a condition.

 

Regular coaching sessions are provided throughout Merseyside as well as volunteering opportunities.

 

The project will help to develop Merseyside’s first Mental Health Football League along with an annual Mental Health Football Festival.

 

The participants also benefit from the following:

 

  •  Work experience

  • Employment opportunities

  • Training

  • Professional accreditation.

 

'Imagine your goals' was launched on 8 September 2008.

Everton Imagine Your Goals Round 1 launch

Disability Football Development Programme 2008 - 2011 

This disability programme provides a variety of activities for disabled people throughout Liverpool.

 

Disability football coaches from Everton in The Community visit schools to deliver multi-skills coaching programme, where children can take part in weekly training and competitions.

 

There are also after-school and holiday soccer camps at school grounds and other suitable facilities which are easy access for disabled children.

 

THe 'Disability Football Development' progrmme was launched on the 27th of April 2008.
