Pre Entry 2 Employment Project
The pre E2E programme offers intensive information, advice and guidance as well as mentoring support on a one to one basis and also in small group sessions. A caring and learner centred approach is balanced by the absolute necessaity of ensuring the young people become independent and self-motivated to identify their progression routes into employment, training or further education.
MFCiC Delivery Workers engage with these young people from the local communities using the attracting of player appearances and the medium of football.
MFCiC's second site: the Eston Leisure Complex, based in the heart of the community, acts as the central focus for the course with fully functional and well equipped classrooms for one on one sessions and workshops. The brand new 3G Astro turn pitches in the Herlingshaw Centre as well as large grassed spaces outdoors for more active challenges, build an exciting environment for young people to access many sessions they may not have had the opportunity to do so in the past. MFCiC promote a variety of activities and not just football; these include range from gymnastics, boxercise to circuit training, all designed to meet the the needs of the learners.
