Football Foundation - football's biggest supporter
.

tottenham hotspur foundation

The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation was launched by Tottenham Hotspur Football Club as an independent charity to manage the club’s community work in North London.

The Club’s community scheme gained the charitable status through its excellent work and a £4.5m investment from the Club helps to deliver its goals.

Now in its second year, it aims to increase sporting opportunities for young people in the local community to 500,000, up by 25% on previous years.

This will be achieved by using football to promote healthy lifestyles and educational attainment to help youngsters fulfil their potential.

Case study: Danny Jarvis

Danny Jarvis is 31 years old and a huge Tottenham Hostpur fan. Danny enjoys both playing and watching football and feels that he has benefitted from the power chair sessions ran by the 'Reach to Teach' project. Danny would like to have more regular sessions and feels that he would benefit further from this.

“I love football and love to play it, I am very grateful for all the support from the staff and all involved in the power chair football.” Danny Jarvis.

Case Study: Lasso Traore

Lasso is 21  years old and a regular attendee to the Reach to Teach sessions. Lasso joined the sessions through the London Sports Forum information. Lasso found out about the group because he felt that he was being discriminated in his previous team due to his disability. This gave Lasso the inspiration to play in his impairment group. Lasso enjoys both the training and league fixtures equally, he is also the top scorer and plays as a striker.
