Saturday 17 September 2011 saw the official opening of the new Multi Use Games Area which was made possible by a £30,000 Mayor of London grant.
The Multi Game Use Area (MUGA) will be used primarily for football and basketbal and include perimeter fencing and floodlights to enable usage of the facility in the evening especially within the winter months. The MUGA will form part of the wider development of the park and will offer a suitable area for the local young people to gather and play sport all year round.
