On Friday 30 September 2011 the Multi Use Games Area was officially opened, which was made paossible thanks to a £30,000 grant from the Mayor of London fund. The facility will provide free and open access to sports including basketball, football, hockey and cricket to local residents during all weather.
The MUGA also has an allocated space next to it for skateboarding, kick about and basket ball hoops with a macadam surface. Both areas will be floodlit in order to extend usage of the facility in the evening especially within the winter months.
