Support day
All completed facilities projects which have received a grant from us for over £20,000, are invited to attend a Support Day meeting. The meeting will be run by the local County FA, with additional support provided by representatives from the Foundation. The meeting lasts around 90 minutes and is an opportunity for the Foundation and County FA to review how your project is delivering against the original Football Development Plan (FDP). The meeting also gives you the opportunity to talk through the success and achievements of your project as well as to discuss any future developments or further support you may require.

 

Relevant representatives involved with the project with knowledge of football development and activity at the site will be asked to attend the Support Day to ensure that the meeting is beneficial to all involved.

 

Prior to the meeting we provide the County FA with a report of the project, based on the original FDP and the Monitoring and Evaluation forms that are completed and returned to us each year. At the Support Day, questions will be asked based on this report, therefore knowledge of football development and activity on the site is required, which is why it is essential the correct people attend.

During the meeting, all of the relevant issues above will be discussed, providing an opportunity to review how the project is delivering against the Football Development Plan.

 

The County FA will complete the report with the outcomes of the Support Day including any actions or decisions from the meeting. The project, County FA and Football Foundation will all have a copy of the report with any actions that are to be followed up.
