The Foundation is inundated with requests from applicants to arrange for celebrities to attend their openings or cheque presentation. Due to the high demand the Foundation is unable to help with these requests. In the past applicants have often had more success contacting celebrities directly and we would suggest that you:

invite appropriate celebrities who live in your local area

approach famous former pupils/players of the school/club

approach your nearest professional football club for a player/manager/former player

approach other sports clubs near you (e.g. local rugby club, cricket club)
As a must we ask that you always invite your local MP, County FA and Foundation representative to your event. Simply type in the postcode of your site to find out who your local MP is.
