James Beattie


James Beattie is a former professional footballer and England international turned coach. The striker had spells playing for a host of top flight clubs, including Southampton, Everton and Stoke City, scoring over 130 goals in the process. In May 2013, James became manager of Accrington Stanley where he cut his teeth before catching the eye of Swansea City, joining former teammate Garry Monk’s coaching staff, before moving to re-join Monk at Leeds United.

Our Ambassadors support the Foundation's commitment to building better community sports facilities across the county, which support the health of the nation – its people, communities and economy.
