About the Football Foundation

Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the World. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country.

The role

The Personal Assistant will provide a comprehensive and proactive secretarial approach to the Chief Executive. The role will provide a wide range of personal administrative support, such as diary management, briefing for meetings, drafting correspondence, opening post and emails and dealing with sensitive information. An important aspect of the role is supporting the Board and panel secretary with the preparation of the Board packs and minuting meetings as well as   preparation for other key internal meetings by creating agendas and action trackers. 

This role requires excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and a high level of discretion, as it involves regular communication with high profile figures from the world of football and other national governing bodies of sport and government.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an intelligent, professional and motivated Personal Assistant who has worked in a similar role. The post holder will have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Flexible, adaptable and intuitive, the ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure, balance a number of key tasks and be driven to develop a thorough understanding of the Foundation and how it functions. The successful applicant will be a  self-starter and a team player, willing to play their part in an exciting environment.
