Northgate High School

In 2006 Northgate High School, Norfolk recieved £398,495 for a third generation artificial grass pitch. The project dramatically improved the school’s facilities and increased participation in terms of both curriculum and community use.

Through support from the Football Foundation, Activity Sustainability Advisor focusing on partnership work, and the use of The Foundation’s Marketing and PR Toolkit, additional bookings have been generated.

Northgate High School Head Teacher, Glyn Hambling said:

"What we have here now is a facility, the only facility in the greater Dereham cluster that serves over 4,700 children, their parents, families, local groups and communities and what we have now is a clear facility that can sustain participation in football and interest for a new group of people to get involved in activities. "
