Baffins Milton Rovers FC were awarded a grant of £20,000 by the Premier League to build a brand-new clubhouse. The club, which was formed in 2011 through a merger between Baffins Milton FC and Milton Rovers FC, can now host a large number of fans at their new facility, giving supporters a safe and comfortable environment to use both before and after matches. The hospitality suite comprises a bar and kitchen area, a spectator seating area and spectator toilets. It can also be used by the local community for events such as weddings and community gatherings, generating vital additional revenue for the south coast club. “We love it!” exclaimed longstanding supporter Brian Yates. “This is now a brilliant place for us fans and the wider community to come and socialise. Thanks to the Premier League, we have a state- of-the-art suite, complete with its own bar and kitchen, that we can make the most of throughout the entire season.” Despite being one of the youngest clubs in Step 5 of the National League system this project marked the third time Premier League FOCUS ON FOOTBALL STADIA IMPROVEMENT FUND 10 CLUBHOUSE DELIGHT FOR BAFFINS MILTON ROVERS FC OVER NEW CLUBHOUSE
