  • A new 3G playing surface has been laid at the Steve Bloomer pitches thanks to Barclays Steve Bloomer Pitches receive Barclays fundingYoung people at the Steve Bloomer pitches are set to receive a huge boost with the news that Derby City Council who manage the pitch, has been awarded a grant of £7,700 by Barclays. The funding will contribute towards resurfacing the 3G pitch and getting the facility approved so that it can appear on the FA register for affiliated football. 16/06/2015

The grant will contribute towards installing a starting gate to allow BMX coaching sessions and competitive events to take place.
